GOP’s Primary Tactic Is Becoming Voter Suppression

After decades of employing a big money approach to fear, uncertainty, and doubt, Republicans have discovered those tactics are becoming less and less successful. So the party that has migrated from the long held strategy of dog whistle racism to an openly racist party leader, needs to find a new way to win.
The good news for the right is their right wing Supreme Court’s decision to gut the Voting Rights Act has given racist controlled right wing strong holds the ability to win elections despite their lack of appeal to enough voters. Their answer has been one of openly hostile voter suppression. Many on the right no longer even bother to justify their actions with false narratives and ugly fear tactics. They just come right out and say certain things favor Democratic voters.
But in these southern right wing controlled states, they’ve simply taken to closing the places where minorities (which oddly enough, strongly favor Democrats) vote. What better way to win elections than cutting back early voting, purging voter rosters of those that lean left, and actually closing the places that make it more convenient to vote.
This is positively shameful! And should Donald a Trump pull off a win on November 8, this practice will get the cover it needs thru the appointment of more right wing Supreme Court (and other federal court) judges.
