Messed Up Republican Priorities

Republican President Trump is looking to solve the budget deficit by axing funding for the arts. These programs receive less than $500 million a year each in funding, totaling less than $2.5 billion.
Meanwhile, he continues to jet down to Florida for weekend vacations at a cost of about three million taxpayer dollars for each trip. And he continues to have his wife and child live in their guilded tower in New York at a cost of millions of dollars. Some of this money flows right into his pockets since he owns the properties where taxpayers are footing the bill for services. So it’s easy to see why it is a priority for him.
He also plans to slash tax rates on the rich, boost our already world’s highest military spending, and slash programs for the needy.
Like most things Republican/Trump, these seem like really screwed up priorities! More voodoo economics as Republican George HW Bush once called the failed trickle down economic policies with which Republicans are so enamored?
Expect Republicans to keep lining his pockets with tax payer money while they drop things like the arts and healthcare and cut taxes on their wealthy friends.
