At the CPAC conference last week, Donald Trump claimed there was a line six blocks long waiting to get into to see him. That would be yet another lie.

There were only three small overflow rooms waiting to see him.

This type of lie is not important from a policy or government standpoint, but it points to his continued obsession with popularity. An obsession that has led him to constantly focus on a false narrative that he thinks he is far more popular that he really is.
