Let’s forget for a minute that profiling is wrong and immoral. Let’s forget for a minute that these actions have very real negative consequences for the people that are wrongfully being detained and harassed. Let’s try to think like Republicans and think of the financial cost. Because they seem to prefer putting cost or profit ahead of all else.

I can only imagine that all of these innocent people that are being detained and harassed based on religion or perceived religion are going to sue the government. What will these constant episodes of unconstitutional bigotry and religious intolerance end up costing taxpayers when these battles hit the courts. It seems like a sure win given the first amendment.

Republican President Donald Trump needs to read the constitution. Republicans in the house and senate need to stand up to his racism, Islamophobia, and law breaking border police!
