In his daily press briefing on Friday, Sean Spicer was asked a rather pointed question. As you may recall, during the campaign, Donald Trump claimed the job report numbers were “one of the biggest hoaxes in American politics” and that they were “phony numbers.”
So after the strong jobs numbers that came out this week, Spicer was asked if President Trump was confident that the jobs report was accurate.
Being part of the Trump Administration means you must lie often, so Spicer said, “They may have been phony in the past, but it’s very real now.”
