The Trump Administration is making it really easy for terrorist recruiters to build their armies. The Muslim travel ban, anti-Muslim rhetoric, and Islamophobia of the Trump Administration play right into the terrorists that are seeking to radicalize Muslims around the world. Together with their largely hopeless economic situation, it serves as evidence to them that the US is at war with Islam and gives them a good reason to fight and be willing to sacrifice their life.

As if all that isn’t enough, the Trump Administration has now told Afghans that have been helping out the US in our attempts to clean out the Taliban and terrorists, that they will not be welcome in the US and not to bother applying for visas.

This is an ignorant and dangerous strategy. It is only going to hurt us in the long run. The Trump Administration’s inability to see long term goals and seek long term solutions is discouraging and depressing!
