Trump Approval Rating Continues Downward Trend

April 5, 2017 by Chris Kite

The good news for Republican President Donald Trump is that his approval rating cannot get much lower. The bad news for him is that very few Presidents get this low at any point in their tenure and those that do take months or years to get there.

He is now at 35% approval. That is 2% lower than the last survey and 3% below President Obama’s rating in 2013. He still has a while to go to reach George W Bush’s low point of 25%, but I’m confident he can get there.

Even worse is that 52% of Americans say they are embarrassed that he is President. I know I am!
