He’s said it before and he keeps saying it, so let’s call it what it is. It is a lie.

Donald Trump likes to lie about being for environmental protection. As he strips away environmental protection, defunds critical government efforts to clean up past wrongs, and vows to defund and/or shut down critical watchdog functions, he keeps claiming that he is actually for a clean planet and that he has won big environmental awards. This is a lie. He has won two very minor environmental awards that anyone can find. One of the properties later shut down. The other was cited for environmental violations just four years after the award.

I don’t know who he thinks he is fooling, but this President is certainly no friend of the planet!
