After meeting with Chinese Chinese President Xi Jinping last week, Republican Donald Trump appears to have come up empty handed as far as a trade deal goes. This is nothing new. He makes lots of promises but as of yet, has failed to deliver on them. With China, he came away saying they agreed to a 100-day plan to review the trade relationship between the United States and China.

Once again, he failed to do the proper ground work in advance, understand the issues, or show up prepared with a strategy and a plan to improve trade between the US and China.

So far, Republican Donald Trump has failed to get Mexico to pay for the wall, has failed to repeal Obamacare, has failed to stop Muslim travel or immigration, and has failed to get a better trade deal with China. Call me crazy, but it is almost like he was just conning voters when he made all those promises!
