Who knew figuring out how much something would cost takes math and time to use the math?

No time to wait. We’ve got to do this now. I mean, sure, we could try to verify the costs, but they might not be favorable and then we would look like idiots. Wait, what? Non-partisan AARP has estimated that it could cost insured people as much as $25,700 annual? Those numbers don’t sound good. So were going to lie to you. We’re going to tell you it isn’t possible to figure out what it will cost.

Nor do we really have any idea how many people it will kill. But that isn’t the point. The point is to hurry up and get a law passed so the President can stand up in front of the country and tell us how great he is for giving us a really tremendously wonderful new healthcare law that is going to make insurance cheaper and lower deductibles. Never mind that we really have no idea if it will do that. Never mind we have no idea how many people it will kill.
