Recently, Republican President Donald Trump invited the President of the Philippines, Rodrigo Duterte, to visit him at the White House. For most Presidents, at least those with some sense or right and wrong, or those that recognized a tradition of NOT associating directly with brutal tyrants that murder their citizens, an invitation to the President of the Philippines wouldn’t likely occur.

But Donald Trump is no ordinary President! He is the definition of corruption. He is using his role in government to fill his pockets with cash that he can earn from business deals around the world. So it should come as no surprise that Mr. Trump has a big real estate development project going on in the Philippines. And it should also come as no surprise that until asked about his marketing material, the issue of images of his family and him touting the development were commonplace.

This is corruption as we’ve never seen it before. He is crafting world policy to benefit his business. He is throwing American ideals out the window and working with people that we should not be rewarding.
