Republicans are under-funding the United States Census Bureau just as they are about to ramp up for the 2020 census. The director suddenly quit. Republicans in congress are telling them they have to do more with less.

This comes at a time when the census will be harder because so many have given up land lines. That makes it harder to track and contact people. Especially those that are young and extremely mobile. Which means in is likely they will be under-counted. And since they often live in poor areas, or in big cities, this will sway congressional districting toward Republicans.

Don’t think it is an accident. It is by design!
