This administration has been thoughtless and reckless from day one. This is either one of the administration’s more reckless acts, or, perhaps it goes to show that Republican President Trump thinks laws and ethics simply don’t apply to him.

Flynn warned the transition team that he was under federal investigation for being a paid lobbyist for Turkey while working on the campaign team. They hired him anyway.

This falls on Mike Pence as he was in charge of the transition. He should have caught this and immediately eliminated Michael Flynn for consideration for National Security Advisor.
