White House Considering Putin’s Offer

It was kind of lost due to the president’s declaration that he believed Putin over U.S. intelligence agencies. But the President Of The United States Of America said it was an “incredible idea” to allow Russia to interrogate former US Ambassador to Russia Michael McFaul in exchange for letting US intelligence agencies question the 12 indicted Russians.
The White House actually said it was considering the Kremlin’s request. That’s right. The White House is considering allowing Russian intelligence to question a former ambassador. Someone that had diplomatic immunity. Someone that served the United States of America and was guilty only of speaking out about Russia’s human rights abuses and its oppression of free speech and political opposition.
There was only one right answer when Putin suggested this. It wasn’t, “What an incredible idea!” It wasn’t, “We’ll consider it.” It wasn’t, “We’ll get back to you.”
The correct answer was No. Nyet. Absolutely not. Never in a million years.
President Donald Trump is disgraceful and is putting Americans in danger. I find myself horrified at what he may have said in that private meeting with Putin. The one where no one else attended. The one with no recordings and no transcript.
