So what if a group or a politician — it could be anyone from, oh say, the ACLU or a Christian parish to Representative Nancy Pelosi or Senator Paul Ryan, had a really bad moment.

• They felt threatened by, oh say, POTUS befriending and meeting secretly with a cold-blooded dictator like Putin.
• Or the idea of separating asylum-seeking refugee babies from their parents felt decidedly un-American.
• Or tapes came to light of Trump and his former fixer discussing paying off Trump’s lovers’ within weeks of the presidential election smacked of effecting voting trends.

And, in an irrational moment, they tweet:

To US President Trump: NEVER, EVER THREATEN THE UNITED STATES AGAIN OR YOU WILL SUFFER CONSEQUENCES THE LIKES OF WHICH FEW THROUGHOUT HISTORY HAVE EVER SUFFERED BEFORE. WE ARE NO LONGER A COUNTRY THAT WILL STAND FOR YOUR DEMENTED WORDS OF VIOLENCE & DEATH. BE CAUTIOUS.

Would that Tweet be overlooked like this real tweet from our reality POTUS? Would law-abiding, patriotic Americans mortified by the tyrannous acts of Trump suffer any public consequence, moral outrage?  Any visit from the local Feds? Discussion of Congressional hearings?

I’ve got to be stating the obvious to those who read our president’s latest tweet to Iran: Donald J. Trump is clearly unhinged and consistently demonstrating clear and present danger to our country.

IS CONGRESS READY YET TO DO SOMETHING ABOUT OUR MENTALLY UNSTABLE PRESIDENT?
