If you don’t like the way things are today, get out there a vote!

The media is doing its usual job of prognosticating. The senate will stay republican and the house will turn democrat. But you have to remember something that is critically important. This is all based on polling data, assumptions, predictions, and, the “political experts” telling us what they think it going to happen. But in order for anything to happen, we have to have an election.

And that is where democrats often go wrong. Call it want you want. Complacency. Laziness. Lack of enthusiasm. But it is really simple. IF we all show up and vote, we have a very good shot and changing the makeup of our government. IF we assume that polls are correct and there is “no need to vote,” that chance will evaporate.

Nothing is given until the ballots are cast and the votes are counted. We must show up. We must vote. Vote by mail. Vote early. Vote on election day. It doesn’t matter which you do, as long as vote. We must keep spreading the word that voting is the only way to change things.
