In an interview, Republican President Donald Trump’s Chief of Staff Reince Preibus says that they’ve looked at changing the First Amendment. His beef? The media isn’t treating him fairly. It seems he doesn’t like the New York Times covering all his people’s communications with Russia. He really wants this Russia scandal to just go away.

No doubt he’s looked at his idol Vladimir Putin’s control of the press and he wishes he had the same abilities to stop stories that he doesn’t like and that don’t make him look good.

They actually have the nerve to complain about articles that “no basis in fact.” This from an administration that promotes “alternative facts.” This from a President that has been documented as telling 488 lies just in his first 100 days.

So the question to be answered is, in their world can people also sue the President or his Administration for promoting lies?
