Here is yet another sad story of a murder/suicide caused by a gun. The more guns we have in society the more of these we read about. Of course the gun nuts will tell us this would have happened with some other weapon had they not had a gun. But it WAS a gun and we really don’t know whether another weapon would have been used or would have been too messy, difficult, or slow.

Yes, we need help for the mentally ill.  And yes, we need to find ways to keep guns out of the hands of the wrong people.
