Climate change deniers are typically persistent and they are consistent. They always dig up some important sounding people that are not climate scientists to refute the evidence. And they always talk about how the climate scientists are fudging the numbers to keep their jobs and keep the grants coming.

It doesn’t really make any sense for multiple reasons. First, these guys aren’t getting rich off the research. The article linked below talks specifically about that. Second, there would most certainly be more money in finding evidence that climate change is not happening. Third, these scientists generally are doing what they love, not trying to make lots of money.

But none of that matters if you’re a climate denier. You keep grasping for new “evidence” and when your “evidence” is proven false, or inaccurate, or not relevant, you either move on the next unproven evidence, or you keep repeating the lie until it becomes fact.
