I’ve attached a link for one of the best simple articles I’ve read about Global Warming/Global Climate Change. It does a great job of explaining the short term phenomenon that so many skeptics claim is proof that global warming has stopped or isn’t real.

I believe it is important for those of us that don’t fall for the false information to be able to understand why skeptics are wrong and be able to explain it. This will help you do that.

Perhaps the most valuable piece of information in this article is the fifth chart down, which shows how climate skeptics try to spin the data, and what the actual data looks like. But even if you look at the “How Skeptics View Global Warming” chart, it becomes apparent that their argument breaks the data into short periods instead of looking at long term trends.
