Why can’t Donald Trump just tell the truth? He has really spun up a nice web of lies and deceit.

With all the attention his potential ties to Russia is getting, he is kind of on the defensive. So when asked questions about his ties to Russia, his ties to Putin, and the potential for conflict of interest, he decided to come out with it and say he has never met Trump.

Except, in the day and age of internet and cell phone cameras and recorders, one must be careful what one says.

One November 10, 2015, during the GOP debate, Trump said, “I got to know him very well because we were both on ’60 Minutes,’ we were stablemates, and we did very well that night.”

So which is it, Donald? Either way, you’re a liar.
