Climate change is real, it is created by human beings, and it has created record warmth across the country. In fact, we are in the warmest period in our country’s history. The data is not somehow manipulated. The facts have not been altered. Climate change is real and it is created by our insatiable appetite for things that run on fossil fuels.

Republicans can continue to deny science. The right can continue to create misinformation. But burying their heads in the sand isn’t going to stop the reality that we are on a fast path of irrevocably altering the planet’s climate and creating catastrophes such as rising sea levels, drought, and famine.
