The Idiocy of Today’s Media

Perhaps it is a desire to appear “fair and balanced” when compared to Fox “News.” Perhaps it is the corporate ownership of media and profit focus that forces the media to look for stories that sell, even if it means forsaking accuracy. Perhaps it is the constant cuts to “unimportant” media positions like fact checkers.
But whatever the cause, it is clear that the media is increasingly reporting non-stories as something we should be interested in.
These are just two examples. And they are good ones.
I particularly love the idiotic idea of building a wall between the US and Canada. What do you suppose that will cost? Will we build it right thru the great lakes?
The lunatic fringe on the right is seriously dumbing down our country. From denial of climate change to Hillary Clinton being under investigation by the FBI. From denial of evolution to the need to build a wall across our borders.
