Why Not Disband The Capitol Police, Too

March 24, 2016 by Chris Kite

Once again, Republicans in Congress are trying to weaken law enforcement and endanger those responsible for overseeing federal lands.

Answering to the nut case Bundy crowd, they’ve introduced legislation to take law enforcement on many federal lands away from federal employees and give it to local jurisdictions.

It’s interesting that they didn’t include the Capitol Police in this transparent attempt to pander to the radical extremists on the right.

I guess when it comes to their own security, they want the best. But for federal lands, they’re okay with whatever.
