Walker Shows Great Leadership – Except He Has No Clue!

Mike Wallace of Fox “News” interviewed Scott Walker and held him accountable for his statements comparing unions to ISIS. I think everyone knows he didn’t mean to directly compare them, but it was still a massive and clueless insult to unions and union supporters. In reality, it probably didn’t damage the Walker brand too much given that anyone that supports unions already knows Walker’s position as the Koch brothers’ middle class destroying lap dog.
This interview was interesting though because it shows that while it is easy to throw out claims such as “I show leadership” and “I know how to deal with terrorists,” the people that make these claims rarely have the full picture or the ability to develop a comprehensive and effective plan. He loves to tell us Obama is all wrong. But he isn’t quite capable of going beyond that. Walker showed us that he is all bluff on international leadership. But I doubt the anti-Walker crowd is too surprised. I certainly am not.

Like Michelle Bachmann of Minnesota (altho I know she’s senate), I wonder how an elected official from Wisconsin whose biggest urban challenge is — what, Milwaukee? — can speak intelligently about any of the huge, serious issues affecting our country. With credibility. I guess those two words would be the most important. So Walker says if he can deal w/Wisconsin’s teacher’s union, he can deal with ISIS? Really? Naive is about the nicest thing I can say about that. Nice posts!
