The Insane Conspiracy Theories From The Right Continue!

I would like to say that John Fleming is completely nuts. But when a large percentage of a political party shares the same view, it is hard to claim that they are all nuts. Paranoid? Yes! Trying to scare people? Absolutely! Racist? Check!
Voter fraud in the US is extremely rare. The kind of voter fraud he is talking about would be extraordinarily hard to pull off. In almost all states, you must prove your citizenship and show documentation of where you live. For example, in California (which, by the way, has 14 Republican Congressional Reps and several of them were elected by running in a single party election where Republican ran against Republican), where Mr Fleming claims the Democrats have already turned it into a one party state, you need to provide the last four digits of your social security number, your date of birth, and a California state issued ID/Driver’s license number (or complete an interview).
Were someone to make up a random birth date and last four digits of social security number, it seems pretty unlikely those would match the name. And if this were happening, couldn’t the Republicans at least provide us of real examples and convictions? Wouldn’t that be the best argument that voter fraud is a problem? To actually show us examples of voter fraud?
Of course voter fraud isn’t really a problem. This is just another right wing dog whistle aimed at scaring people into fear of letting “the other guy” get into power. It is racism pure and simple. It goes along with Obamacare “destroying America,” welfare queens,” and drug addict welfare recipients.
